We all want exercise that is both efficient and effective. Effective means that it works. It works to improve both form and function. Efficient means that there is no wasted effort. We want exercise that works and is free of wasted or useless effort. In performing an efficient and effective squat we want to ensure minimal joint risk and maximize the range of motion up-down, tempo and direction of movement from position of standing to the biomechanical limitations at he end range. This is a functional exercise. Functional exercise works because it focuses on involving the muscles we need and use daily. This means all muscles and their integrated functions during increasingly complex movements. Functional training only works if the exercises are successful in activating the muscles we need when we need them and in the order and sequence needed. This is not easy.

Recovery and regeneration could be key factor for every client to reach their goal. All the exercise is stress, yet can be stimulus for positive change forcing the body to adapt to the training, only if there is enough recovery and regeneration. This is very complex and autonomic response in the body influenced by many factors, nutrition, hydration, stress levels and sleep.

The physiological systems perhaps most important to ensure we improve performance following exercise and circulatory, metabolic, connective, nervous and hormonal.

Power plate which does acceleration training is proven method for positively impacting on each of those systems, thus facilitating an optimal environment for positive change and growth.

Benefits of acceleration training performed on the power plate are:

Acceleration training can help to restore the balance in the body by increasing the growth hormones, lowering stress hormone, increased blood and lymph circulation, promote remodeling of bone and connective tissue and creates a relaxation to the nervous system.

Yes. In all those years in business, circuit training is like fat burning machine. What is circuit training. Its a exercise program that consists of high intensity one set high repetition workout.

Mini circuit 3-4 different exercises: bench press, body weight squat, bicep curls w/barbell, bike 5 min high intensity. Than you repeat this 3-4 times with 30-45 sek in between and you completed a mini circuit.

Regular circuit is 6-8 exercises different body parts high repetitions 15-20 4-5 circuits w/ jump rope and bike or treadmill run in it. So something like this push ups, body weight squat, bike 5 min than bicep curls, triceps extensions and jump rope 2-3min, after abs crunches, plank 1 min floor bridges…..repeat 4-5 times!

That intensity elevate your heart rate during the weight lifting part of the circuit witch makes you lift weights w/ heart rate of usually 140….regular weight lifting session heart rate is 110-120. Anyway, by doing this type of exercise you are putting extra stress on your cardiovascular system and giving the body high-energy output sometimes double than the normal regular session. That being said the circuit training gives you a great combination of cardio and strength training which results with increased burning fat of your body.

The best way to hire a personal trainer is to ask for referral from a friend. They know your personality and they most likely will know what type of trainer will fit you best especially if they have been working with a trainer before. In my entire career as a trainer, the best clients that I get were the clients from referral. Its like date match. Trainer should be easy going entertaining true professional and sometimes a motivator.

Since there is not an official way or science of how to hire a trainer there are some basic guidelines:

1. Make sure he is certified nationally thru: NASM, ISSA, ACE, NESTA, etc.

2. Make sure he is been trainer for more than 5 years trainers who make it past that mark are really committed to the excellence in this business.

3. Make sure that he does not have a second job like acting ( because you are to be in for a lot of missed or rescheduled sessions on his part ) usually common in LA, San Francesco, Miami and New York. Trainer is a model or actor.

4. make sure you are ready for change the right trainer will make drastic changes to your habits positively

5.Make sure he has policies all written in a paper form that you will take with you.

With all this being said go out there and find you trainer. There are a lot of fitness enthusiasts who are willing to share all the knowledge they have to help you get in shape. Good luck. One of my favorite sites for finding a personal trainer is:

Lower back pain is the most common location of the musculoskeletal pain. In most cases, although the low back my be the source of pain, it is often not the cause of the pain. One of the most common forms of low back pain is over reactive hip flexors from extended periods of sitting. The seated position creates shortened hip flexors and lengthened gluteal muscles or hip extensors. Once the “butt” gluteal muscles are unable to contract fully to perform hip extension the hamstrings may become overactive without the effective aid of the gluts. Thus low back pain may be indicative of tight hip flexors, weak gluts and tight hamstrings, in that order. As a consequence, abdominal muscles will be unable to properly stabilize the spine and pelvis, further complicating the issue. To only attack the problem by treating any one of these significant issues may temporarily relieve pain or dysfunction for a short time, but the pain or dysfunction will soon return. Strengthening and stretching must be performed to minimize lower back pain.
